Changing your life to a natural lifestyle is easier than you think……
Let me help you change your life by showing you how you can have a natural lifestyle with essential oils. Do you know what is the largest organ of your body? Well, I’m sure you’re not sitting around wondering that! Your skin is your largest organ of your body.
All of the soap, lotions, moisturizers, deodorant, perfume, detergents, and fabric softeners that we use are absorbed into our skin on a daily basis, multiple times a day. Most if not all commercially prepared products include toxic chemicals! Don’t take my word for it, research it! It’s somewhat frightening.
Three years ago I made a decision to convert to a natural lifestyle by using Essential Oils in my everyday life and it has been fun and very exciting to incorporate these oils into life.
Essential oils are aromatic and concentrated plant extracts that are carefully obtained through steam distillation, cold pressing, or resin tapping.
My most favorite oils are the Young Living oils. The efficacy of these oils is 100% natural and pure. These oils do not expire if kept in a cool dark place. There are many essential oils I use, but one of my ‘go to” essential oil is Thieves.
Thieves is a wonderful essential oil, that has multiple uses. When I travel I always have my spray bottle of Thieves with me.
Thieves is the most amazing blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-infectious essential oils.
How was Thieves essential oil named?
It was named from research based on legends about a group of 15th century thieves who rubbed oils on themselves to avoid contracting the plague while they robbed the bodies of the dead and dying. When apprehended, the thieves were forced to tell what their secret was and disclosed the formula of the herbs, spices and oils they used to protect themselves in exchange for more lenient punishment.
Studies conducted at Weber State University during 1997 demonstrated the killing power of these amazing oils against airborne microorganisms. the analysis showed that after 10 minutes of Thieves diffusion in the air, there was an 82% reduction in the gram positive organism bioaerosol, a 96% reduction in gram negative organism bioaerosol and a 44% reduction in bioaerosol (Chao SC, et al., 1998).
The Power of Thieves…..
Thieves is a blend of many oils including:
- Clove
- Lemon
- Cinnamon Bark
- Eucalyptus Radiata
- Rosemary
Clove
Clove is one of the most antimicrobial, antiseptic, antifungal, antiviral, and anti-infectious of all essential oils.
Lemon
Lemon has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that amplify immunity. It promotes circulation, leukocyte formation, and lymphatic function.
Cinnamon Bark
Cinnamon Bark is one of the most powerful antiseptics known and is strongly antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal.
Eucalyptus Radiata
Eucalyptus Radiata is anti-infectious, antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory.
Rosemary
Rosemary is antiseptic and antimicrobial. It is high in Cineole key ingredient in antiseptic drugs.
Thieves neutralizes and purifies the air from strong odors when diffused. It also has a cleansing action when applied topically or on surfaces. Thieves can be used in cleaning and personal care products. Isn’t that amazing? Again, Thieves blend is my go-to for an anti-viral, antiseptic and invigorating clean and spicy scent that smells more like fall baking than harsh cleaning formulas.
Did you know that you can create recipes with Thieves, that are natural and more economical than store bought and without any chemicals?
Tips on using Thieves essential oil….
